SEASIDE COTTAGE

Shires were briefed to create a sunroom for one of the most spectularly situated homes on the North Coast. The clients wanted to be able to enjoy their location through rain or shine.  The coastal location brought its own problems so Shires worked with local joinery shops to create bespoke fittings that would withstand the seaside air.  Delabole slate floors, warm wood and a soft colour scheme complements the original house.

The sunroom has completely changed the way the family uses the ground floor of the cottage, through all weathers the room is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the surroundings and entertain family and friends. Since completing the sunroom Shires has been commissioned for two more projects by the owners.
